Tue. 5/21 - Advanced Wire Work: Wrapped Pendant

Event Description:

In this advanced class you'll wrap a bead pendant with wires to make a fancy bezel and bail. You'll learn how to use the appropriate tools and supplies necessary to measure and wrap, and fasten the wire around the pendant, completing the wrap with a bail for hanging.

Join me at Michaels Arts and Crafts store in Rutland, Vermont, for our Bead Corner Design Academy classes and events. I am a Certified BCDA Instructor and I teach a variety of 2-hour jewelry classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. Sign up at the store at least one day in advance.

In this introductory class you'll create Elegance Earrings with bead dangles. You'll learn how to use the appropriate tools and supplies necessary to complete different styles of earrings. You'll learn how to design your earrings, as well as the techniques for creating loops, adding beads, and attaching ear wires. Only $25, plus supplies.

In this introductory class you'll string beads onto memory wire to make an Elegance Bracelet. You'll learn how to use the appropriate tools and supplies necessary to complete a memory-wire bracelet, as well as how to cut memory wire, string beads and sliders, and attach an optional clasp. In this introductory class, you'll create a necklace that is similar to an "illusion necklace," but this Elegance Necklace is a much more current style. You'll learn how to use the tools and supplies necessary to create this necklace, which involves using crimp tools as well as attaching beads, sliders, and a clasp. Only $25, plus supplies.
