Paint a Treasure Box by using a regular-size shoebox or a photo box from the craft shop.
These boxes are donated to the Shriner's Hospitals across the country for children who are receiving long-term hospital care. The children keep their "treasures" in their boxes, stored in the drawers of the tables next to their beds. Regular-sized shoeboxes and photo boxes are just the right size for those drawers. The catch is that before a hospital will distribute the boxes, there must be enough boxes for all the children in that hospital. So the boxes are gathered at a "depot" and delivered to the hospital when there are enough.
